Business Development Associate

Caring Transitions of The Woodlands is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join the Caring Transitions team to develop and carry out relationship-marketing strategies and secure clients through a consultative sales process. Caring Transitions is the nation's largest provider of senior relocation and estate liquidation services. We are seeking a compassionate, caring and mature individual capable of performing assigned tasks with limited supervision. This position is part-time with expected hours to be between 15-20 hours per week. An individual with business-to-business marketing and/or sales background is ideal. Job responsibilities are as follows:

Marketing Management

  • Develop and execute relationship-marketing strategies to ensure Caring Transitions is the preferred provider of transition services in The Woodlands and the surrounding area. This includes developing relationships with senior retirement communities, realtors, attorneys, trust officers and other senior services providers to advocate for Caring Transitions services.
  • Conduct regular marketing calls with current and prospective referral partners.
  • Secure community presentation opportunities to share value of Caring Transitions services.
  • Implement social media strategy to increase exposure of the business on social media platforms.
  • Identify, plan and execute strategic marketing events and presentations

Sales Management

  • Field calls from potential clients and client’s family members
  • Attend client consultations with the goal of securing business
  • Coordinate execution of project with the Operations and General Manager

Qualifications for this position are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • 2 years of professional business to business marketing or sales experience; will consider entry-level candidates who have a business degree
  • Ability to work 15-25 hours weekly during business hours

Team Member - Relocation and Estate Services

Caring Transitions of The Woodlands is looking for team members to join the estate services and relocation teams. Caring Transitions is the nation's largest provider of senior relocation and estate liquidation services. We are seeking compassionate, caring and mature individuals capable of performing assigned tasks with limited supervision. These positions are part-time on an as needed basis with no guaranteed hours. We are growing our team as we project to grow. Perfect for retirees, stay-at-home moms/dads or college students who would like to make extra cash but don’t require consistent work/schedule. No specific job experience necessary. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Job responsibilities are as follows:

Online Auctions & Estate Sale Services
• Organize & sort household goods for distribution & sale
• Decluttering - separating low, medium, & high value items
• Setup and staging for sale
• Taking & editing digital merchandise photos
• Prepare description of items for Craigslist and upload photos
• Proper handling of all sales transactions day of sale
• Greet customers and provide service during sales
• Continuous reset & staging of area during sale
• Breakdown of all equipment at end of sale
• Cleanout at end of sale

Relocations and Right-Sizing
• Proper packing techniques used for relocation
• Unpack & resettle in new home
• Decluttering- separating low, medium, & high value items
